General Manager (m/f/d) Electronics

Our client belongs to an U.S.-based Group and is a global leader in its business segment. The company operates as a global organization with a strong local footprint, managing specialized teams and capabilities across multiple regions. It employs approximately 300 people worldwide, slightly more than half of whom are based in Europe. The European sites are located in Poland, Germany and Switzerland. Annual revenue is approximately USD 25 million, with a sustained operating income of 15-17%.

For this role, we are seeking for a driven, entrepreneurial General Manager who will run the company as if it were their own. You are a leader who brings energy, ownership and strategic vision - someone capable of delivering double-digit business growth with a sustained operating income above 20%. You report directly to the Group General Manager. You will have 8 direct reports, consisting of functional and site leaders.

YOUR TASKS:

Define and execute the long-term strategic plan to achieve the company targets
Steer the business toward profitable expansion in automotive, industrial, and clean energy markets and identify new opportunities for innovation, partnerships and market differentiation
Take full accountability for financial performance, revenue growth, margin optimization, and operating income
Strengthen relationships with key and strategic customers. Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial strategy
Lead, mentor, and develop a strong cross-functional leadership team and foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and high performance
Oversee global manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and quality with a focus on efficiency and scalability
Guide the development of next-generation product solutions, and prioritize R&D investments

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven track record as a P&L leader or General Manager, delivering strong commercial growth
Strong understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and technology-driven product businesses
Experience in automotive, industrial or electronics markets
Strong strategic and operational capabilities with excellent decision-making skills
Comfortable with risk and rapid changes in program and good vision of the project big picture
Excellent English communication skills, Polish, German or French language skills are a plus
Willingness to travel requently within Europe and globally
